MYC Solar Technology Training Course

Manzini Youth Care Solar Technology Training is a program by Africa Meridionale (AFM), Salesian Planning and Development Office (SPDO). AFM, SPDO aims at addressing the effects of climate change by creating “Green Centres” and empowerment/strengthening of local communities in Southern Africa for the improvement of environmental and climate protection through the implementation of Eco-Ubuntu. MYC solar technology training course aims to equip the youth with myriad solar skills that once learned and inherited they can be able to stand the world on their own. The program runs for a duration of six months in a full time study timetable, and it hopes to execute two groups each year. ECO- UBUNTU SPORTS DAY

The first edition of Eco-Ubuntu Sports Day for Salesians schools have concluded. Eco-Ubuntu is a project by Africa Meridionale (AFM), Salesian Planning and Development Office (SPDO). Its purpose is to address the effect of climate change by creating "Green Centres" and empowerment/strengthening of local communities in Southern Africa for the improvement of environmental and climate protection. Sports and cultural activities are both strong recommendations for gathering people for context sharing. It is for that reason Eco-Ubuntu gathered Salesians schools in hope of raising awareness on environmental issues that results to climate change, and to also propagate solutions or means in solving those environmental issues.
