Manzini Youth Care projects
Manzini Youth Care has been involved in a number of projects since the day it was announced as an active Non-Governmental Organization. We have three main categories that we use to categories our projects which is the Social Welfare, MYC homes and MYC skill centers. From this three categories we have sub categories namely the Agriculture category, Education, Maintenance. This is merely done to carefully and fully maintain the organization.
Projects catagories
There are three MYC catagories in all the Social Welfare, MYC Homes and the Skill Centers. Each catagory has different activities where those activities are separetetly managed.

MYC organization strives to provide a safe and enabling environment for marginalized children and youth at risk… using a holistic approach to ensure the wellbeing, education and skills development for these young people in order to realize a future where they are empowered to contribute towards social development.
-To create a positive living environment in which the vulnerable youth feels welcome and cared for as basis for social, educational and professional development.
The department aims to provide comprehensive Christian care, support and protection to the vulnerable youth.
To integrate the vulnerable youth by providing holistic care, support and protection through shelter, food and education.
To prepare the youth for vocational training and tertiary education so that they can be independent in the future.
To create an environment where the young people feel free to play, express themselves and also enjoy themselves.
Social welfare is important for communities and people to survive. Often, the cycle of poverty is broken due to social welfare assistance programs. People have access to food, shelter, and medical care that they could not otherwise afford.
The purpose of MYC social welfare is to help people in basic needs. The programs offer assistance with basic human needs: health care, shelter, and food.
Manzini Youth Care in Swaziland runs five residential homes but due to unforeseen circumstances we only have one running which is the Enjabulweni boys home and we are providing care for those boys which they are approximately 19. In dealing with the growing number of boys appearing on our streets, our first step is to try and re-establish contact with any remaining family members. Ideally we would wish to see the boys back being cared for by their family and communities.

MYC began a massive building project constructing the Bosco Skills Centre, the Bosco Study Centre and the Bosco Recreational Centre, (named after St John Bosco founder of the Catholic Salesian order) to provide vital training, education and recreation venues and resources for the youth of Manzini.
