 April 2014, MYC were delighted to be involved in the making of a film about the Enjabulaweni boys; this film is a follow-on from film made 9 years ago and traces the lives of several street children, some of whom were taken into the care of MYC & who went to live at Enjabulweni. We are really looking forward to seeing the final product. Thanks to Joyce Gallie & her son Luke from London who are helping us with the production. Thanks to all the boys too who so engaging with the filming. On the last day of filming a big party and braii was organised for all in Enjabulweni.
March 2014, St Patricks day was celebrated on March 17th at Enjabulweni with a big party organised by our volunteers; everybody was Irish for a few hours with green face painting, games, Irish language class and even delicious green pancakes! Thanks to everybody for all the fun.
January 2014, Congratulations to Salesian’s top performing pupil Sibusiso Makhukhula, who in January last, scored 95% in his junior certificate results. Sibusiso came joint third in all Swaziland while his fees are paid by the Manzini Youth Care bursary schools programme; a single orphan Sibusiso is a pupil of the Manzini Youth Care associated, Enjabulweni school.
